Very few people think about testing for formaldehyde. Read up on formaldehyde. It can make you sick and even cause cancer.
We utilize top of the line radon testing equipment. Many areas of the country has high levels of radon. Oregon is one of those areas. 48 hour turn around for test results.
Aerial Thermal Roof Inspections
Some of our testing tools we use for building inspections. Common tools are moisture meter, thermal camera and tablet. However does your inspector go beyond the normal paramatories to help keep you safe. We test for gas leaks, radon levels, formaldehyde levels, CO, CO2 levels. Does your inspector provide testing? Testing a building will help conclude the condition of a building. For example: The buyer is purchasing a building with several HVAC “RTUs” roof top units that heat with gas. We utilize a combustion analyzer to test for efficiency and proper operation. Sometimes we find cracked heat exchangers during these tests. Very dangerous. Sometimes we find burners clogged, yellow flames. Just wasting gas!
Refrigeration equipment. On one of our inspections the client had 18 pieces of different types of refrigeration equipment. We found four of them not operational. Our point is always have your inspector test all mechanical gas or electrical equipment.
